Jurnal TV is a Moldovan general news brand launched in 2009 broadcasting news in Romanian and Russian (partially). The initial launch was meant to be a channel offering news but was later transited into a general television. The channel was initially launched on internet in 2009 followed by a satellite launch in March 2010 The current programming content includes news journals, political/social talk shows, movies, TV series, cartoons and other entertainment and infotainment genres dubbed and broadcast in Romanian and Russian. The channel is contributing to a number of social campaigns and initiatives encompassing the Moldovan citizens that are launched either by the channel itself or government or by virtue of some partnerships and collaborations. The headquarters of the TV is equipped with high-tech studios and advanced broadcast facilities. Besides television, a radio station – Jurnal FM and a newspaper named “Jurnal de Chișinău” are in the ownership of Jurnal Trust Media Holding.
