TVI 24 is a private Portuguese 24×7 cable and satellite channel owned and managed by TVI – one of the country’s largest media conglomerate. The channel chanting the slogan of “O mundo em tempo real” (The world in real time) was launched in February 2009. After been a long wait the channel was founded in 2008. The channel propagates the headline news, international news, sports, weather, entertainment, economy, business, technology and rest.
