Via Eutelsat 28A eNCA is free-to-air in Europe. The News service was officially launched in the European region via Sky in Ireland and UK; however the services were closed two years later in October 2014. eNCA is also having partnerships with the other news services in and across Africa, for instance, The Africa Channel – a UK based channel that focuses on the news, entertainment and documentaries focusing continent of Africa. The channel was formerly known as eNews, however, in 2012 it was rebranded as eNCA standing for “eNews Chanenl Africa”. eNCA is available on DStv Southern Africa. The dedicated developers are providing the online audiences with the exclusive web-based news as the channel is one of the few biggest online news sources in the country. The 73% of the users are English speakers while Afrikaans and IsiZulu make 30.16% and 11.23% of the viewership respectively. Male gender users make 51.67% while 48.33% of female users are currently the part of journey.
