Globovisión is a round the clock Latin news network based in Venezuela. The broadcasts are aired across the Latin American region and US for the Spanish audiences. The Globo has facilities in Aragua, Zulia, Caracas and Aragua; wired at channel 33 in the regions. An alliance with DirecTV has provided the space on channel 110 for the audiences. A selection of programs can be accessed by the audiences of Canal Sur and TV Venezuela in the United States of America. The viewership of the Globovisión served by the DirecTv comes all the way from Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Aruba and Barbados. Juan Domingo Cordero, the owner – a businessman and economist has the major investment in the channel. Juan who reportedly has relations with the Venezuelan government has faced criticism for allegations of being the government mouthpiece.
